Hi-Rize Ninjutsu

About this game

A side scrolling platformer about a ninja on the rooftops. The Magpie has stolen the lanterns off the whole city, and Nib crosses the roofs relighting them. Run, jump, and land on things from above, because above is the only side that wins. Four districts of three levels, a bird waiting at the end of each, and a straw hat, a shuriken pouch, a paper kite and a shadow form that each change what he can do rather than how big a number is. The art is ninjutsu, spelled ninjitsu by about half the people who write it down, and up here it is mostly jumping.

How to play

Left half of the screen steers, and pushing further runs. Right half jumps, and how long you hold it is how high he goes. Land on a pigeon or a helmet guard to flatten it, and kick the loose helmet through whatever is behind it. The guard in the spiked hat cannot be jumped on at all, so throw a shuriken or go around. Press down on a chimney to drop through it. Each level ends at a lantern post, and the higher up you light it the more it scores. Nothing is kept between runs.

Developer notes
